Carter Hutton

Predators giving green light to Carter Hutton on Monday night

Nashville Predators goalie Carter Hutton will start on Monday night against the Dallas Stars.

What It Means:

Hutton was in the starter's crease during the morning skate, and he was the first goalie off the ice. Hutton has won his last three starts while allowing just one goal on 78 shots in that span. This will be his second straight appearance after he posted a shutout against the Florida Panthers on Saturday. This will be the first time a healthy Pekka Rinne has sat out consecutive games.

Hutton has a 6-2-1 record this season with a 2.10 goals against average and .924 save percentage. Our models project him to make 24.76 saves on 27.43 attempts while giving Hutton a 45.0 percent chance of earning the victory. We don't recommend him tonight, ranking Hutton 11th out of the 14 options available for Monday's slate.
