Devils' Mike Cammalleri has no timetable for return

New Jersey Devils winger Mike Cammalleri is currently without a timetable to return from a hand injury.

What It Means:

Cammalleri missed his fourth game in a row with the injury, and after the game, New Jersey coach John Hynes told everyone the news. "You could call it week to week or day to day," Hynes said. "We’re just trying to see how it goes every three or four days, if there’s improvement. We’re planning on him being back at some point hopefully soon but there’s no set timetable."

Cammalleri has 14 goals and 38 points in 42 games. Our models have him projected for 10 more goals and 11 more assists over the final 25 games, but it looks like he's not going to be able to play in that many contests. His 2.3 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is the third-best mark of his career, and his Corsi For Percentage of 49.2 is his second-best mark in the past nine seasons.
