Jakub Voracek's two-goal night propels Flyers in overtime

Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime, to help the Philadelphia Flyers upset the Washington Capitals, 4-3, in Washington on Wednesday night.

What It Means:

Voracek scored his eighth goal of the season 38 seconds into overtime. He scored his seventh goal at 17:39 of the second period, giving the Flyers a 3-2 lead. Philadelphia catapulted to a 2-0 lead on goals by Brayden Schenn (12th) and Ryan White (fifth) in the first period. That set up Voracek's heroics. Two Flyers finished the night with two assists -- Claude Giroux and Shayne Gostisbehere. Giroux, who set up both of Voracek's goals, now has 25 assists on the season. Gostisbehere now has 14 assists.
