The next game for the Capitals is Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers, and coach Barry Trotz doesn't know if Carlson will be ready for that contest. Carlson will need to be 100 percent healthy in order to play Wednesday, otherwise Washington will keep him sidelined and hope he'll be ready to play.

He was poor at driving possession, however, as his Corsi For Percentage is 47.9 and his Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is a career worst -4.4 We project Carlson to post another 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) in 28 more games over the remaining course of the season.
