Kyle Turris

Kyle Turris will not play for Senators

Ottawa Senators center Kyle Turris will miss Thursday's game against the New Jersey Devils because of a lower-body injury.

What It Means:

This will be Turris' first game on the sidelines in 2015-'16. The 26-year-old should be considered day-to-day. He has 13 goals, 30 points and a minus-11 rating in 46 games this season.

We project Turris to register 10 more goals with 15 more assists over the remainder of the season. Obviously, those will need to be adjusted if this injury proves serious. He owns a 4.1 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, which is the best mark of his career. On the other hand, his 50.3 Corsi For Percentage is his worst clip since his rookie year in 2008-'09.
