Henrik Sedin day-to-day for Canucks with chest injury

Vancouver Canucks center Henrik Sedin will be, at the least, day-to-day with a chest injury.

What It Means:

Sedin had X-rays on his chest and has indeed suffered a new injury there. He noted that he's "unsure" if he'll play Monday night against the New York Rangers, but that "it "won't keep him out weeks" either. This is certainly encouraging news for the Canucks.

The 35-year-old Sedin has tallied 37 points this year with nine goals and 28 assists through 44 games, earning a plus/minus of plus-11. His 51.2 Corsi For Percentage is the worst mark of his career, while his 4.6 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is significantly below his 6.6 career-average.
