Andrew Shaw continues hot stretch, scores twice in Chicago win

Chicago Blackhawks winger Andrew Shaw scored a pair of goals in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Nashville Predators.

What It Means:

Shaw opened the scoring with under a minute remaining in the opening period, and he extended Chicago's lead to 2-0 in the second frame. Not normally a scorer, Shaw has four points in his last two games. Marian Hossa picked up an assist on both of Shaw's goals.

The 24-year-old Shaw has eight goals and 20 points in 45 games this season. We project him to tally seven more goals and nine more assists over the final 38 games. His 52.7 Corsi For Percentage is the worst mark of his career while his -0.8 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is a tick below his career average of -0.2.
