Richards hasn't played yet this season, but Washington coach Barry Trotz would like to get him into the lineup prior to the All-Star break. The Capitals have seven games left before the break. It's possible Richards could be sent to the minors for a conditioning stint.

His Corsi For Percentage was also down from the two prior seasons, but his total of 50.9 percent was right on par with his career average of 50.8 percent.
