Flames' Michael Frolik (upper body injury) is out indefinitely

Calgary Flames winger Michael Frolik (upper body) has gone back to Calgary and will be examined by doctors on Thursday.

What It Means:

Frolik suffered an injury during Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators. He is considered to be out indefinitely, as of now, but a clearer timetable for his return should be available after he's examined by the Flames.

Frolik has 16 points (seven goals, nine assists), which is fourth best on the Flames. We projected him to record another 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) over 51 games during the remaining course of the season, but these numbers will need to be updated if he's going to miss significant time.
