Calgary Flames center Sean Monahan scored two goals and passed out an assist in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
Monahan opened the scoring at the 5:46 mark of the second period, and his second goal broke a 2-2 tie in the third period. He also picked up the primary assist on Johnny Gaudreau's game-winning goal with under five minutes remaining in regulation.
The 21-year-old has 10 goals and 22 points in 28 games this season. He's currently riding a four-game point streak. We project him to tally 18 more goals and 22 more assists over the remainder of the season.
