Jonathan Drouin comes up big in return to Lightning
Tampa Bay Lightning winger Jonathan Drouin scored a goal and added an assist against the Anaheim Ducks in his return to the lineup on Wednesday.
What It Means:
A welcome return to the lineup for Drouin, who logged just over 13 minutes of ice time. The 20 year-old hadn't suited up for the Lightning since November 14. Playing on a line with Nikita Kucherov and Vladislav Namestnikov, he had a few good chances in this game. His assist came off a really nice setup of Jonathan Marchessault in the slot on the power-play.
Drouin has two goals and six assists for eight points in 15 games. We project him to record six goals and 22 assists in 50 games over the remainder of the season.
