Devils' Patrik Elias ready to play, may be in on Wednesday
New Jersey Devils forward Patrik Elias is ready to return from his knee injury.
What It Means:
He will probably be in the lineup for his season debut on Wednesday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Elias practiced with Jacob Josefson and Stefan Matteau on Tuesday.
If he isn't able to play Wednesday, Devils' John Hynes indicated that Elias would be back Friday against Montreal. He hasn't played since April 11.
