NHL DFS is similar to MLB in terms of how you build lineups, how you view stacking, and how to value players.

Two main points to always focus on in NHL DFS are what lines the players are on and making sure the goalies you are rostering are confirmed as the starters. That is where you can find updated forward and power-play lines for each team, along with which goalies are confirmed as the starters.

Let's jump in to take a look at today's slate and some players to consider for your lineups.

Goalie to Target

Sergei Bobrovsky ($8,600): The Florida Panthers are looking to be the chalk of the slate as -465 home favorites against the Buffalo Sabres. Bobrovsky is in need of a bit of a bounce-back performance after allowing four or more goals in three of his last four starts. Picking up a win against the Sabres is a good way to get that started.

The Sabers are scoring 2.33 goals per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations this season, which is in the bottom half of the league. We also see them coming in with a 49.85 Corsi For (Total Shot Attempts Created), per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which is the third-worst in the league. This is a chance for Bob to right the ship after a few rough games.

High-Salaried Skaters

Jonathan Huberdeau ($8,800): At $8,800, Huberdeau's salary is too low -- far too low. Huberdeau comes in with 102 NHL points this season, which is good for the second-most in the entire league. That is more than any other player on the slate, yet he owns just the fourth-highest salary among skaters tonight. He really should be -- at a minimum -- $9,500, and while that might not seem like a massive difference compared to $8,800, it matters. Since the Panthers are massive -465 home favorites, you can bet he is going to be a very popular option against the Sabres.

Huberdeau comes in with 18 NHL points and 31 shots on goal over his last 10 games, putting him at the top of the list of the most productive players on the slate. His role on the second forward line and the first power-play unit continues to give him immense upside every time out.

Kirill Kaprizov ($9,100): With 8 goals and 37 shots on goal across his last 10 games, Kaprizov is reaching for his fantasy potential nearly every night. The Minnesota Wild are one of the best offensive teams in the league, scoring 3.09 goals per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which is the third-most. Their matchup versus the St. Louis Blues could feature plenty of scoring since the Blues are also in the top 10 of the league for the most goals scored in the same split.

This sets things up for a back-and-forth, offense-first type of game, which could be perfect for a game stack. The Blues are a very average defensive team, allowing 2.40 goals per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which ranks 16th in the league. With Kaprizov seeing time on the first forward line and the first power-play unit, he should have plenty of chances to rack up fantasy points.

Value Skater

Artturi Lehkonen ($4,500): Lehkonen and the Colorado Avalanche have a strong 3.65 implied total and are always a threat to reach their fantasy ceiling. After being traded to the Avalanche at the deadline, Lehkonen finds himself skating on the second forward line and the second power-play unit. He has just 2 NHL points in his last five games but has amassed 16 shots on goal in that time, which is a solid level of production for a modest salary. A 6.5-goal over/under against the Winnipeg Jets gives this game plenty of scoring potential, which should comes mainly on the Avalanche side of things.
