3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on Wednesday 12/1/21

On this six game slate, who can we look to for value? Let's examine some chances.

Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal more risk. This is especially true on tonight's slate, where there are lots of lower-salaried plays. Plugging in these options will afford you more chances to play some studs, as well.

Let's search for value to save some salary elsewhere.

Isac Lundestrom, Center, Anaheim Ducks

FanDuel Salary: $3,800

The Anaheim Ducks' center carries some recent momentum with two goals in his last three games.

Wednesday night, it's worth mentioning another alternative with Yanni Gourde ($4,000) of Seattle for an excellent reason, but Lundestrom has played better of late, too. He is averaging nearly 17 minutes a night over the past three games.

There is that possibility of him moving to a top-six forward role based on the injury status of Ryan Getzlaf. That could also lead to some power-play time as well.

Kaapo Kakko, Wing, New York Rangers

FanDuel Salary: $3,900

Can Kaapo Kakko keep on piling up points? He has six real-world points in the past six contests entering this date with Philadelphia.

Despite getting mostly middle-six ice time, the winger draws against a team allowing 34.8 shots per game and more than 36 shots per 60 minutes on the road. The former is the most in the league, and the letter is nearly as bad.

Alas, Kakko is going unnoticed in a lot of circles. He's currently on the top line in even-strength situations with players like Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin, so he's a tremendous value plug to stack against Carter Hart.

Vince Dunn, Defenseman, Seattle Kraken

FanDuel Salary: $3,900

The Seattle Kraken have a solid matchup versus the Detroit Red Wings.

Dunn should see a lift with Mark Giordano out due to COVID-19 protocols as well.

Even without injury, Dunn is seeing the 20-plus minutes a night many were hoping for before the start of the season. If he keeps getting top-four ice time, it is safe to say he will begin to put up some real-world points and filler categories like blocked shots/

With the excellent power-play role combined with the top line or two chances, Dunn has a real chance to impress against an unrested Detroit squad that played Tuesday.

With Edmonton's duo on the slate, Dunn may be especially important to punt at the blue line and save salary for forwards.
