3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on Friday 11/12/21

Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal more risk. This is especially true on tonight's slate, where there are lots of lower-salaried plays. Plugging in these options will afford you more chances to play some studs, as well.

Friday night features five contests on the slate. Let's explore a few more values on this slate.

Seth Jarvis, Center, Carolina Hurricanes

FanDuel Salary: $3,200

The Carolina Hurricanes forward gets another shot with the top line on Friday night. How long that lasts is anyone's guess. With his salary, though, it means value.

Jarvis has a goal and an assist in his last four games with six shots on goal. The center has chipped in a couple of blocked shots, as well.

This is almost too easy of a stack to use now. All it takes is plugging Jarvis in. If he gets close to 15 minutes, as he did against the Florida Panthers, then the upside becomes even higher.

Trevor Lewis, Wing, Calgary Flames

FanDuel Salary: $3,300

With a small slate, taking risks on bottom-six forwards is a solid option. Trevor Lewis has real-world points in two of his last three games.

The forward has seven shots on goal in his last three games despite seeing fewer than 14 minutes a night during this time. He is generating nearly three scoring chances a game of late, too.

The winger has been a decent asset in the Calgary Flames' plan of attack. Short-term-wise, Lewis will provide much salary relief on Friday night.

Justin Braun, Defenseman, Philadelphia Flyers

FanDuel Salary: $3,700

The Philadelphia Flyers' defenseman has seven real-world points in just 11 games. His salary has not skyrocketed like some DFS players, though.

Though Braun can have his defensive issues, he did have seven blocks against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday. That potential alone should keep the Flyers blueliner in mind.

It can be a real pain to guess which players are going to rise above their floor and surprise. Braun is one of the more dependable targets so far during the 2021-22 season.
