3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on 3/6/20
Dylan Strome is struggling to produce in fantasy, but he can have a big day against Detroit. Who else should you look to for cheap production?

If you follow the NHL, you already know all of the top players. Obviously, when playing DFS, those players will come at a high cost. In this article, we are looking to find the cheaper value plays to help you afford the superstars

Dylan Strome, Center, Chicago Blackhawks

FanDuel Price: $4,000

After being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks last season, Dylan Strome seemed to really thrive in his new environment. Unfortunately, this season has been a pretty large disappointment. Strome heavily relies on getting on the scoresheet to meet value as his 90 shots in 55 games is not a good total.

Strome plays on a line with Patrick Kane at even strength, which is always beneficial. Luckily, this is the best matchup you can have as the Blackhawks visit the Detroit Red Wings. Strome is the top point-per-dollar center, per our projections.

Reilly Smith, Winger, Vegas Golden Knights

FanDuel Price: $5,200

The Vegas Golden Knights are 9-1-0 in their last 10 games and are among the hottest teams in the NHL. The Knights visit a Winnipeg Jets team that is stumbling as they try and fight for a playoff spot.

Reilly Smith is having one of his best seasons in the NHL, with 52 points in 68 games. He has already passed his career high in goals, tallying 27 so far, with plenty of games left. He plays on Vegas' top line with Jon Marchessault and Paul Stastny, but he is unfortunately relegated to the second power-play unit.

Alex Edler, Defense, Vancouver Canucks

FanDuel Price: $4,300

At the age of 33, Alexander Edler is having one of his best offensive seasons. His 1.98 shots and 2.79 blocks per game give him a pretty solid floor, and when combined with his very respectable offensive upside, his ceiling can be quite high, too.

Edler and the Vancouver Canucks host the Colorado Avalanche -- a matchup that is far from ideal. Edler doesn't normally play on the power play anymore, but there is still plenty of upside here due to his peripherals.
