3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on 11/13/19

If you follow the NHL, you already know all of the top players. Obviously, when playing DFS, those players will come at a high cost. In this article, we are looking to find the cheaper value plays to help you afford the superstars.

Dylan Strome, Center, Chicago Blackhawks

FanDuel Price: $4,700

Dylan Strome continues to have a depressed price which makes him a great value play once again. He is centering the Chicago Blackhawks two best wingers in Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat, which obviously puts him in a great spot. The trio remains together on the Blackhawks top power-play unit which again, gives him elite upside.

Strome struggled a bit in Arizona, but after coming to Chicago last season he has been dominant. He put up 17 goals and 51 points in 58 games for Chicago last year and has put up somewhat similar numbers this season with 3 goals and 12 points in 17 games.

Anthony Duclair, Winger, Ottawa Senators

FanDuel Price: $4,300

Another player that is perennially under-priced on FanDuel is Anthony Duclair as his $4,300 price tag does not seem to line-up with his role on the Ottawa Senators. He plays on the top line at even strength with Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Brady Tkachuk, as well as being a permanent fixture on the team's top power-play unit.

Duclair is tied for second on the team in goals with six and tied for second in shots with 50. He provides a solid floor with his shot volume and his general role on the team gives him solid upside against a New Jersey Devils team that allows 3.63 goals against per game.

Tyson Barrie, Defense, Toronto Maple Leafs

FanDuel Price: $4,400

Tyson Barrie hasn't really meshed really well on this Toronto Maple Leafs team yet, but there is just too much talent here to ignore. He has not really settled in yet in Toronto as I'm sure moving to a new city after spending the first eight years of his career is a big change. He has put up 50-plus real-life points in three of the last five seasons — including one season in which he put up 49 real-life points in 78 games. With just 5 points in 19 games this season, he is clearly under-performing.

Tonight may not be a great spot for him to break out of this funk as the Leafs take on a New York Islanders team that is allowing the least amount of goals against per game at just 2.19. However, the price is too cheap and there is still plenty of upside here for Barrie.
