For those of you who missed it, the NHL held the Heritage Classic this past weekend in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. You’d think that by arranging an outdoor hockey game in October you’d avoid any inclement weather. But that’s not how we roll up here in Canada. The Jets and Flames played through a fall winter storm en route to a 2-1 Jets overtime win. It’s not the first time Saskatchewanians braved a snowstorm to sit through a sporting event in Regina, and it definitely won’t be the last.
