NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 4/5/18

Taylor Hall is on a nine-game point streak, and he draws a Maple Leafs team that has little to play for. Who else should you trust in NHL DFS?

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalie to Target

Jacob Markstrom ($7,700): The Vancouver Canucks are even on the moneyline against the Arizona Coyotes. Markstrom is coming off of a 4-0-1 streak and has faced 171 shots over that span. As of Thursday morning, he has not yet been the confirmed starter, so keep an eye out for that. Markstrom is risky at home, but there could be reward here (Vancouver yields 36 shots per 60 since February 1st). There are other appealing options like Jonathan Quick and even Martin Jones, but there will be more clarity on the slate's goalies once starters are confirmed. Antti Raanta would be a contrarian goalie as he is riding a six-game winning streak and has faced a touch more than 33 shots per game in that span.
