NHL DFS: 3 Lines That Were Unlucky in 2016-2017
Phillip Danault and his Montreal Canadiens linemates Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher had bad puck luck in 2016-17. Who else is due for some positive regression?

Montreal Canadiens

Line to Target: Max Pacioretty, Phillip Danault, and Brendan Gallagher

When this line was together last year, it was hard not to want to play them in NHL DFS. They had 62.5 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 4.6 expected Goals For per 60 minutes. However, they disappointed because of their NHL low (minimum 100 minutes of ice time) PDO of 89.2.

They mustered only 0.94 Goals For per 60 minutes and a 2.3% shot rate, meaning they are overdue for some positive regression in 2017-2018. Alex Galchenyuk has been skating with Danault and Gallagher, which would make for an appealing mid-priced stack on most DFS sites.
