3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 2/22/17
Sean Couturier and linemate Jakub Voracek have a favorable matchup tonight against the Capitals. Who else should you stack in NHL DFS on this three-game slate?

Florida Panthers

Players to target: Nick Bjugstad, Jon Marchessault, Aaron Ekblad, and Keith Yandle

The Florida Panthers are coming off a game in which they the beat the St. Louis Blues in the final five seconds of regulation on a Vincent Trocheck goal. They will take on the Edmonton Oilers, who are on the back-end of a back-to-back set after a 4-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning last night. The top two lines for the Panthers will see a lot of ownership, but the third line is arguably in the best spot.

Bjugstad's line will not see more than a shift or two against Connor McDavid and the top line for the Oilers. Instead, they will see the second and third lines for almost all of their ice time. The second line (Leon Draisaitl's) is allowing 71.5 Corsi Against per 60 minutes while the third line (Ryan Nugent-Hopkins') is allowing 83.9 Corsi Against per 60 minutes.

In contrast, the Panthers' third line has been a solid possession unit posting 53.4 Corsi For per 60 minutes and a 55.6 Corsi For Percentage. The duo of Ekblad and Yandle has posted 63.7 Corsi For per 60 minutes and each will man a power-play unit. Since Bjugstad and Marchessault are also split up on the power play, this will be a great stack to get a piece of both power plays and high shot volume at even-strength.
