3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 1/17/17
Ryan Johansen and his new linemates -- Filip Forsberg and Craig Smith -- are in a good spot against the Vancouver Canucks. Which other players make for a good stack?

New York Rangers

Players to target: Rick Nash, Mika Zibanejad, and Pavel Buchnevich

The New York Rangers have a great matchup tonight against the struggling Dallas Stars, who were smashed last night in a 4-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.

The Rangers will get back Mika Zibanejad, their second-line center who was starting to heat up (4 points in 3 games) before being sidelined for 6 weeks. They also recently called up Pavel Buchnevich, and he has a point in both games since in his return to the NHL. These two will get to play alongside Rick Nash.

While this line has not spent any meaningful time together, Zibanejad and Buchnevich have played almost 60 minutes together with Chris Kreider and Mats Zuccarello, and the group has accounted for 64 Corsi For and an almost 60% Corsi For. Sometimes it takes a bit for players to gel, but this is an ultra-talented line in a great matchup. All three are also projected to play on the second power-play unit against the Stars' league-worst 74.3% penalty kill.
