Ryan Fitzpatrick likely to start in Week 4 for Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is likely to remain the team's starting quarterback in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears, per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
Jameis Winston is eligible to return from suspension but Fitzpatrick has been one of the league's best passers so far. He leads the league in yards (1,230) and yards per pass (11.1) and has tossed the second most touchdowns (11).
Fitzpatrick is averaging 33.8 FanDuel points per game this year.
Jaguars' Leonard Fournette (hamstring) expected to practice on Wednesday
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is expected to practice on Wednesday.
After missing last week's game against the Tennessee Titans, Fournette is currently listed as 'day-to-day' with his hamstring injury. The second year running back looks to return against the New York Jets in Week 4.
Our models project Fournette as the 12th ranked running back in Week 4 with 13.0 FanDuel points. His projected totals include 69.63 rushing yards on 17.23 attempts and 2.58 receptions for 18.85 receiving yards.
Falcons' Devonta Freeman (knee) misses Wednesday's practice
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.
Freeman has been cleared to participate in walk-throughs but is still expected to miss Week 4's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. If Freeman cannot go, Tevin Coleman will continue to be the lead back for the Falcons.
Despite missing time with his knee injury, our models still project Freeman to rush for 665.85 yards and 5.05 touchdowns on 157.30 attempts and 274.19 receiving yards and 1.61 touchdowns on 33.67 receptions in 2018.
C.J. Beathard confirmed to be Niners' starting QB in Week 4
San Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard was confirmed by head coach Kyle Shanahan to be the team's starting quarterback for Week 4.
No surprises here as Beathard was serving as the backup to Jimmy Garaopplo since last season. The team will activate Nick Mullens from the practice squad to serve as his backup for Week 4 but are expected to sign veteran Tom Savage following the showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Beathard completed 54.9% of his passes while throwing 4 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 7 games (5 starts) last season.
Our models project Beathard for 209.7 passing yards, 1.3 touchdowns, 0.9 interceptions, and 18.0 rushing yards for 15.0 FanDuel points in Week 4.
Tom Savage expected to sign with San Francisco next week
Free agent quarterback Tom Savage is expected to sign with the San Francisco 49ers, possibly next week per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
The Niners are expected to head into their meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers with C.J. Beathard as their starter and practice squader Nick Mullens as his backup. They need roster spots at other positions so they won't sign Savage until after Week 4. The quarterback was most recently with the New Orleans Saints before being cut in training camp. He will bring veteran leadership to the QB room in San Francisco.
Savage posted a 56.1% completion percentage, 2.2% touchdown rate, and 2.7% interception rate in 223 pass attempts with the Houston Texans last season.
Raiders sign kicker Matt McCrane with Mike Nugent (hip) injured
The Oakland Raiders have signed kicker Matt McCrane to fill in for injured Mike Nugent (hip).

McCrane went 21-of-26 (80.8%) on field goals and 48-for-48 on extra points his senior season at KSU in 2017.
