Patrick Mahomes lights up the scoreboard again with 3 touchdowns for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 24-of-38 passes for 314 yards and 3 touchdowns in Sunday's 38-27 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Mahomes missed out on the Chiefs first 2 scores of the day, as Kareem Hunt ran it in for both of them, but the quarterback took over after that. He found 3 different receivers for a trifecta of second quarter touchdowns, giving the Chiefs a 35-10 lead heading into halftime. His 13 touchdown passes are now the most by any quarterback over the first 3 weeks of a season in NFL history.
numberFire's models projected Mahomes for 20.8 FanDuel points and he topped that with 25.3 on Sunday.
