Baker Mayfield to be named Cleveland's starting quarterback on Monday
Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield will be introduced as the team's new starter on Monday.
Mayfield took over for a concussed Tyrod Taylor late in the second quarter on Thursday night against the Jets, and he rallied the Browns to their first victory in nearly two years after trailing 14-0. This year's No. 1 pick in the draft got his opportunity, and he certainly made the most of it. The Baker Mayfield era has officially begun in Cleveland.
In just over a half of football, Mayfield went 17/23 for 201 yards and 7.84 FanDuel points.
