Eagles' Wendell Smallwood primed for larger role in Week 3
Philadelphia Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood is poised for a larger share of the running workload in Week 3 versus the Indianapolis Colts.
With Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles ruled out and Corey Clement questionable to play on Sunday, Smallwood could lead the Eagles running backs regarding touches as one of only two healthy backs on the roster. Rookie Josh Adams, who was promoted off the practice squad this week, could see action as well.
numberFire's models project Smallwood for 56.0 total yards and 0.2 touchdowns on 12.8 touches for 8.2 FanDuel points on Sunday.
