Baker Mayfield takes over as Browns quarterback with Tyrod Taylor (concussion) out
Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield will take over under center for the remainder of Thursday's game versus the New York Jets, after Tyrod Taylor was ruled out for the remainder of the night.
Mayfield came on for the Browns last drive of the first half after Taylor headed into the locker room to be evaluated for what was later ruled a concussion. The Browns offense clicked when Mayfield took over, as he passed for 47 yards in one drive compared to the 22 yards that Taylor managed prior to that.
numberFire's win probability model currently projects the Browns with a 19.1% chance to win the game.
