San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman missed Thursday's practice with a heel injury.
Sherman has been brilliant this season. In 99 coverage snaps, opponents have just 1 catch against him, per Pro Football Focus. Despite that, the Niners have given up the eighth-most FanDuel points per game to wide receivers. With Kansas City's offense on tap in Week 3, it would be a disaster for San Francisco were he to miss the game.
We currently project Sherman to finish the year with 53.5 tackles, 9.0 passes defended, 2.3 interceptions, and 0.6 forced fumbles.
