Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will start in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced on Monday.
Wentz has been medically cleared and will make his season debut. It will be his first action since tearing his ACL in Week 13 last year.
He threw for 33 touchdowns and 7 interceptions and averaged 6.7 net yards per dropback in his 2017 breakout season. He gets a good matchup against the Colts, who were 24th in FanDuel points allowed to quarterbacks in 2017 (17.8 per game).
