Packers' Aaron Rodgers (knee) could take 'a couple of months' to heal, likely to play through pain

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may take "a couple of months" to recover from his knee injury, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

What It Means:

Schefter reports that Rodgers is likely to try to play through the pain, but may also be on a short leash. If he misses any time, Deshone Kizer will serve as the Packers' starting quarterback.

numberFire's models project Rodgers to throw for 281.1 yards, 1.9 touchdowns and 1.1 interceptions against the Minnesota Vikings today. Accounting for the chance of Rodgers coming out of the game, we also project Kizer for 93.8 yards, 0.4 touchdowns and 0.4 interceptions.
