Bengals' Joe Mixon (knee) expected to miss two weeks

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Saturday to repair some knee damage he incurred during Thursday night's win against the Baltimore Ravens.

What It Means:

The procedure is relatively minor, but Mixon is still expected to be out for a couple of weeks to heal. In the mean time, Giovani Bernard should take over the bulk of the running back work, while rookie Mark Walton will likely be active in Week 3.

Mixon has looked every bit an RB1 so far this season. Through two weeks, he has totaled 179 rushing yards, 6 receptions, 57 receiving yards, and one touchdown.
