Devonta Freeman (knee) not expected to play for Falcons Week 2
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (knee) is not expected to play Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Freeman has been sidelined at practice all week after injuring his knee last Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles in the first game of the season. Tevin Coleman is expected to start and be backed up by fourth-round pick Ito Smith.
