Patriots' Rex Burkhead in concussion protocol
New England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead was placed in concussion protocol on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Burkhead will have four days to clear concussion protocol in order to play in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If he cannot go, James White will be the lead back for the Patriots.
If Burkhead is cleared, our models project him as the 24th ranked running back with 9.9 FanDuel points at the cost of $6,300.
