Greg Olsen (broken foot) reportedly staying on Panthers' active roster
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen (broken foot) will remain on the 53-man roster, reports Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer.
The Panthers are hopeful Olsen will be able to return sometime within the next two months, so they will refrain from placing him on injured reserve, which would force him to be sidelined for at least that period of time. Fourth-round pick Ian Thomas is expected to take over as the starting tight end.
Olsen scored 4.3 FanDuel points in Week 1, with 33 yards on 2 catches and 2 targets.
