Seahawks' Doug Baldwin (knee) suffered partial MCL tear in Week 1
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin (knee) suffered a Grade 2 partial tear of his MCL in Week 1's loss to the Denver Broncos.
Baldwin suffered the injury in the first half and finished with no catches on Sunday. The good news is the injury is not to the same knee that he was experiencing discomfort during training camp. While the team has not given a recovery timetable, a Grade 2 sprain typically requires 2-to-4 weeks. Tyler Lockett and Brandon Marshall will assume the starting wideout spots while Baldwin is out.
Baldwin was projected for 84.4 catches, 1,187.3 yards, and 7.7 touchdowns if he played a full season.
