Andrew Luck looks solid for Indianapolis in his return

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck completed 39-of-53 passes for 319 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception. He was also sacked twice for a loss of 14 yards.

What It Means:

Overall, it was a positive return to action for Luck, who missed all of last season with a shoulder injury. The new Colts' offense looks a lot more horizontal than vertical, as he completed 73.6% of his passes but averaged just 8.2 yards per completion.

Luck scored 20.5 FanDuel points on Sunday. Despite the lack of big plays, the Colts moved the ball effectively through the air, as Luck posted a 54.6% success rate (the sixth-best rate among quarterbacks in Week 1). Excluding Jack Doyle's costly fumble that was recovered 83 yards for a score (which wasn't on Luck), he posted 10.6 passing Net Expected Points.
