Giants' Olivier Vernon (ankle) still sidelined Thursday
New York Giants defensive lineman Olivier Vernon (high-ankle sprain) did not practice Thursday.
What It Means:
Vernon isn't expected to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, and he should be considered no better than questionable for the Giants' Week 2 matchup.
If he plays in the opener, numberFire's models project Vernon for 3.1 tackles, 0.7 sacks, and 0.1 forced fumbles versus the Jaguars.
