Dez Bryant reportedly could hear from Browns after Week 1
The Cleveland Browns may reach out to free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant again after Week 1, reports Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com.
Due to the veterans guarantee, Bryant would be owed his full 2018 salary if the Browns sign him before the first game, compared to only 25 percent being guaranteed if he's signed and released after the opener. Josh Gordon is back with the team, but head coach Hue Jackson previously said fourth-round pick Antonio Callaway will start opposite Jarvis Landry in Sunday's opener versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bryant had 69 catches, 838 yards, and 6 touchdowns on 132 targets with the Dallas Cowboys last season.
