Earl Thomas not expected to play or show up to Seahawks without an extension
Seattle Seahawks defensive back Earl Thomas is not expected to play or show up to team facilities without receiving a contract extension, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Thomas has been firm in his contract demands and appears ready to hold out as long as it takes for the Seahawks to offer an extension or trade him to a team that will. Seattle has held fast in their commitment to having Thomas play under his current contract and appears not willing to move him either. The impasse could last awhile in Seattle.
Thomas registered 88 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2017.
