Geoff Swaim lands on top of Cowboys' tight end depth chart
Dallas Cowboys tight end Geoff Swaim is listed as the starter on the team's Week 1 depth chart.
The Cowboys are expected to use a committee at tight end this season. Swaim may be listed first, but Blake Jarwin saw more snaps with the first-team offense in the preseason while Rico Gathers is expected to play a prominent role in the red zone area. Swaim likely is listed first due to his superior blocking ability. None of the Cowboys' tight end will probably be relevant in fantasy this season.
Our models project Swaim for just 9.2 catches, 119.4 yards, and 2.3 touchdowns in 2018.
