Mike Gillislee listed as Saints' No. 2 running back
New Orleans Saints running back Mike Gillislee is listed as the team's No. 2 back on the Week 1 depth chart.
Gillislee, who was signed this weekend after being cut by the New England Patriots, will step into Mark Ingram's role in the backfield for the first four weeks of the season. While Alvin Kamara is still expected to see the lion's share of the work, Gillislee could vulture some goal-line carries and see close to 10 touches in Week 1.
Our models project Gillislee for just 26.1 carries, 115.9 yards, and 1.2 touchdowns rushing while adding 16.8 catches, 145.5 yards, and 1.0 touchdowns through the air in 2018.
