49ers' Jerick McKinnon (knee) officially placed on injured reserve
San Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon has officially been placed on injured reserve.
What It Means:
This was just a formality. McKinnon's tore his ACL during practice on Saturday, which ended his season. Alfred Morris will step in as San Francisco's starting running back, while Matt Breida will act as the RB2.
