Braxton Miller

Braxton Miller released by Texans

The Houston Texans waived 2016 third-round wide receiver Braxton Miller.

What It Means:

The Texans apparently tried and failed to find a trade partner for Miller, who was unable to beat out Bruce Ellington and fourth-round rookie Keke Coutee for a role in the slot. He's still only 25 but hasn't shown much since leaving Ohio State, so Miller's NFL future is up in the air.

Miller caught 34 passes (57 targets) for 261 yards and 2 touchdowns in 21 games over two seasons for the Texans.
