Chris Thompson (leg) looks 'fantastic' in Washington practice
Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (leg) looks 'fantastic' in practice and is ready to go for Week 1, per head coach Jay Gruden.
Thompson is just eight months removed from a brutal leg injury, where he fractured his fibula, but appears to be back at or near full strength. With Darius Guice out for the season and Thompson could play a significant role in the Washington backfield this season, even as just the passing down and change of pace back.
numberFire's models project Thompson for just 297.8 rushing yards on 68.7 carries, but also 62.9 catches and 611.1 yards through the air this season.
