Josh Gordon (hamstring) will play, not start Week 1 for Browns
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon (hamstring) will play but not start Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, head coach Hue Jackson said.
Gordon sat out all of training camp and was sidelined at Monday's practice with a tight hamstring, so the Browns may want to limit his snaps in the opener. That could lead to a few more looks for fourth-rounder Antonio Callaway and Rashard Higgins.
numberFire's models currently project Gordon for 70.0 receptions (146.7 targets), 968.2 yards, and 7.67 touchdowns this season. He's among the top-20 receivers in our preseason fantasy rankings.
