Saints' Drew Brees projected as top-three quarterback in age-40 season
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is projected as a top-three fantasy quarterback this season.
Brees will be turning 40 in a few months, but that won't prevent him from putting up big numbers yet again in the Big Easy. Last season was the first since 2009 –- his first year in New Orleans -- that Brees didn't attempt at least 600 passes, but he buoyed his completion rate to a career-high 72.0 percent and dropped his interception rate to a career-best 1.5 percent.
Our models project Brees for 4,725 passing yards, 34.6 touchdowns, and 13.0 interceptions on 579 pass attempts, along with 44 rushes for 160 yards and 2.8 scores. He's our third-best quarterback for fantasy in 2018.
