Rashaad Penny (broken finger) expected back by Seahawks for Week 1
Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Rashaad Penny (broken finger) is expected to be ready for Week 1, head coach Pete Carroll said.
The Seahawks are planning on using Chris Carson as a "bellcow" back, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, so even if Penny is active for Week 1, the rookie may have a limited role to start his NFL career.
numberFire's models currently project Penny to gain 580.2 rushing yards and 181.3 receiving yards on 23.1 catches while scoring 5.34 touchdowns. He's the RB33 in our preseason rankings.
