Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger in the NFL concussion protocol
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is in the NFL's concussion protocol after taking a hit in Tuesday's practice.
The 36-year-old signal caller has a history of concussions, so it makes sense Pittsburgh is cautious. Roethlisberger was not expected to play in the preseason game on Thursday, and he could sit out until the regular season as a precaution. His status for Week 1 is not in doubt.
Our models project Roethlisberger for 4,502 passing yards with 29.7 touchdowns and 14.0 interceptions on 584 attempts this season, making him a top-10 option in fantasy.
