Patriots add $5 million in incentives to Tom Brady's contract

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's contract will now include performance-based incentives that are worth up to $5 million.

What It Means:

While the extra money is likely welcome, Brady has always been driven first by winning. The 41-year-old signal caller is still playing at a level that most players couldn't dream of hitting at any stage of their careers. We have Brady ranked as the QB2 this season, behind only Aaron Rodgers.

We project Brady for 4,944 yards and 40 touchdowns, both of which are projected to lead the league.
