Eagles expected to hold out Carson Wentz (knee) for entire preseason
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) is not expected to play in any preseason games.
Wentz has been limited to individual drills since late-July as head coach Doug Pederson thought he saw a "little hesitation" with the QB's knee. Wentz admits to being frustrated with all the limitations placed on him but trusts the team's doctors. The third-year signal caller is still on track to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season, but Wentz could be a bit rusty.
Our models project Wentz for 3,980.3 passing yards, 27.8 touchdowns, and 10.0 interceptions on 526.3 pass attempts while adding 311.6 yards and 3.1 touchdowns on the ground in 2018.
